Enjoy Art Show at the Surfing Heritage Foundation
Hi there! ‘So stoked to be painting special one-of-a-kind hand plane(s) for the *enjoy hand plane art show at the Surfing Heritage Foundation in San Clemente on October 22, with a group of incredibly talented artists. Participating artists are: Matt Beard, Robb Havassy, Wade Koniakowsky, Cher Pendarvis, J.P. St. Pierre, Peter St. Pierre, Rick Rietveld, Phil Roberts, Tak, Skye Walker, Tyler Warren, Alex Weinstein, and Susan Wickstrand.
The art show is in conjunction with a showing of Keith Malloy’s new film Come Hell or High Water. We’re looking forward to Keith’s beautiful film and we hope to see you there! Enjoy!

Beautiful new Pendoflex Fishes for Dr. C.M.
Hello, there! Steve made two beautiful Pendoflexes for our friend Dr. C.M. The 5’10” x 22″ single wing fish is a hand-shaped EPS high aspect twin fin, with small trailer that can also be ridden as a twin fin keel set up. The 6’5″ x 19.725″ swallow tail is a hand-shaped PU quad with a Lockbox fin system, ready to give Santa Cruz a run! Have at it laddie!

Here are Harvey and Steve with the beautiful new Pendoflex knee machine that Steve built for him. Mr. H. kindly shared a story about his first sessions on his new board:
“Went out at “Shoe” this morning. Every wave was a late drop. Got 2 air drops. Didn’t blow any of them. This board is magic, it just sort’a curves right into the face of the waves. First one I thought it was just luck. I was starting to stick all of them. This board is giving me all kinds of confidence, so no telling what’s going to happen after I get “used to it.” Please pass this on to Steve. Love you guys, Aloha……….’H’ the happy kneeboarder.”

A sweet Pendoflex quad fish for Justin
Hello, there! Here are Steve and Justin with the new Pendoflex quad fish that Steve built for him. His new Pendoflex is 5’9″ x 20.75″ and is hand-shaped from EPS foam and glassed with epoxy resin, with care by Steve. Justin is in Bali now and writes: “Surfed 4-6 Uluwatu on my new Pendoflexilicious speed fish. Stoked!” Thanks for sharing your stoke, Justin. Have a great adventure in the barrels. . .
