Single wing fish for Ben

Steve built a single wing fish for Ben with a twinzer fin setup. Ben asked for a rasta color scheme, and the consensus at the factory is “this paint job looks like a bright Mexican rug!”

Steve and Cher, all I can say is WOW! Did dawn patrol at 3rd point Malibu with Jay today and it was 3-5 foot, glassy and consistent. Next thing you know I am flying down the line front side on my brand new, magical Pendo board. Amazing turn response, super loose (in a real good way), and faster than a freight train. It also paddles great and floats me perfectly- despite the fact that I am 6’3″ and currently about 235 pounds. I got some sunrise slashes, multiple speed runs, some fabulous floaters, a couple of barrels, even got a few relatively rare left handers- backside turning was just as fun as going right. This is by FAR the greatest wave riding machine that I have ever had the pleasure of piloting, and I can’t wait to see how I progress in the near future. My goal is to learn 360s and those spinner cutbacks you see the pros doing. Anything is possible with my new Pendoflex! Thank you so much!

This board is sick. I love the Rasta/Mexican theme.

Hi Steve & Cher (and anyone else checking this out)

Since it’s been small lately, I pulled the two twinzer fins out and have been riding my new pendo as a twin fin. Superfun and loose as a goose (despite the fact that the surf has been 2 foot the last handful of days)! I am blown away at just how rad my new stick is, words can’t do the feelings justice. Now I am daydreaming about getting a quad shaped for the winter-WOW!

    Hey, Ben!
Thanks for your post! ‘Stoked that you are having fun experimenting with your fin set up.

It’s all about stoke and having fun!

Sure, a full deck is possible on your new board. . . talk with you, soon about that. ‘Hope that you are getting some waves on the sw swell. We have a strong onshore/sideshore flow and rain here this morning. The wind gusts are exhilarating. . .
