Pendos’ eye view of the Sacred Craft in San Diego

Hello, there. Here’s a selection of photos of some of the friendly folks and beautiful boards at the Sacred Craft surfboard show in San Diego, August 14th. The show was fun. We wish we could have spent more time, but work has been busy and that’s a good thing! We had fun with a family birthday on Saturday the 21st so time at the shaping room and in the water was in order. ‘More soon on that front. Aloha!

The inspiring Simmons Effect exhibit was curated by Barry Hahn of the Surfing Heritage Foundation. It's wonderful to see this tribute to Bob Simmons.

This striking photograph of the legendary Mike Diffenderfer is by Jeff Divine.

The Art of Shaping 2010 was presented by Billabong, and featured beautiful boards by top Orange County shapers. It was an honor to shoot portraits of most of the shapers for this event.

What a fun day. That evening, The Art of Shaping 2010 presented by Billabong raised over $45,000 for worthy charities in the surfboard auction.
